Now it seems I can't find my digital camera, which is a real shame as I had some great ideas about a gallery dedicated to the graffiti at Diana's final resting place in Paris.
Instead I have decided for July to compile a list of things that I am currently admiring...

1. The new song from Miss Aram - she's an Iranian pop singer who I intend to spread the word about.

2. The new 'Flavour of Africa' shop that has opened on Tollcross.

3. The fact that I am trying so hard to find a job in a shop, but yet to no avail.

4. My new friend and fellow participant in The Tehran Biennial's work - her name is Princes Hijab.

5. My new website that's definetly a work in progress!

I love this woven palm from Barcelona.

I have now finished working for flight centre, that period of my life is now compleatly done and dusted. The last day ended when a disgruntled polish customer hit me across the face. Some jobs just aren't worth doing. I have left with a blackened soul and an empty wallet, but now its time to get back to work.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR.

Mission.

Mission is my favourite street in San Francisco, possibly the world. Affectionatly known by all those 'liberal' locals as the 'latin quarter'. I prefer just to call it 'Mission' a hard working reliable name.
The real core of the action takes place at the bart station on 17th and mission where all the crowd hangs out. One sunny afternoon after taking a trip to a witchcraft shop (I bought a candle and a spell called 'Easy Street' off a real mexican witch and her lesbian friend) I spotted a couple of middle aged mission mainstays - (one in a short red leather skirt and high tec trainers combined with puffa jacket) getting down to Mary J Bliges newest offering ' My Life'.
I spent hours walking up and down collecting some of my favourite bits, watching the prostitutes and eating burritos, below are some of the things I found.
One of my favourite siteings which is only to be commited to memory (I didnt have my camera) was a homeless lady in improvised Geisha get up. This consisted of a red shellsuit, a chop stick in her hair and authentic geisha shoes. I think she could be my muse.
Please take special note of the statue of liberty impersonator, what a workhorse she is...

About the witches again...

New proof from Mexico that they really do exist. Enjoy!

MEXICAN WITCHES

Abracadabra by Steve Millar

'I heat up, I cant cool down

You got me spinnin

round and round

round and round and round it goes

Where it stops nobody knows

Every time you call my name

I heat up like a burnin flame

Burnin flame full of desire

Kiss me baby, let the fire get higher

Abra-abra-cadabra

I want to reach out and grab ya'
